Meet Kevin Prior

Owner & Lead Technician

Owner Kevin Prior who lives in North Conway, NH. Kevin Prior is a licensed NH Pump installer, NH level II water treatment, NH Level II Water Distribution and Maine Master Pump Installer.

Kevin Prior doesn’t just fix well pumps; he solves complex problems with a blend of scientific precision and local grit. Rooted in the Mount Washington Valley, Kevin’s journey is defined by a unique ability to navigate challenges and bridge different worlds.

A Foundation in Science & Resilience Growing up in Rochester, NH, Kevin attended a specialized regional program for the deaf, where he developed the foundational resilience that defines his career today. This path led him to the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he excelled in a rigorous academic environment to earn his B.S. in Environmental Science.

From the Forest Service to the Trades After honing his leadership skills with AmeriCorps and the U.S. Forest Service in the mountains of Utah, Kevin returned to New England to merge his scientific background with the technical trades. Starting as a welder, he quickly transitioned into industrial wastewater management and community water systems, finding his true calling in the precision of water infrastructure.

A Trusted Voice in Water Services For the last eight years, Kevin has been a leading technical force in the Mount Washington Valley. He has managed everything from complex pumphouse rebuilds to emergency well pump replacements. His expertise is backed by a comprehensive suite of professional credentials, including his New Hampshire Pump Installer license, NH Level II Distribution and Water Treatment license, and his designation as a Master Pump Installer in Maine. He is known throughout the community not just for his technical mastery, but for his transparency, follow-through, and genuine connection with his customers.

Community-Driven Service When he’s not restoring water to a neighbor’s home, Kevin is likely adventuring in the local mountains with his wife and their dogs. As a committed neighbor who understands the unique needs of the New Hampshire and Maine landscape, Kevin launched Saco Valley Well & Water to provide the community with reliable, high-quality service they can count on. By combining his deep scientific background with his Master-level trade licensing, he ensures every drop of water in the valley is handled with the highest level of care.

Daphne and Alpine

Meet the most popular members of our crew: Daphne and Alpine. Specializing in snack security and tail-wagging diplomacy, these two are essential to our daily operations. Whether they’re "helping" in the home office or supervising a foray into the field, Alpine and Daphne make sure every job comes with a side of good vibes.

Sprocket and POOF!cat

Our least productive—yet most demanding—team members, the cats are currently on a permanent sabbatical from their last recorded pest control effort in 2023. POOF!cat serves as the Chief Distraction Officer, with a particular talent for staging "belly rub sit-ins" the moment the QuickBooks window opens. They may not be our hardest workers, but they definitely run the office.
